The leaves (and clocks) have finally changed and the holidays are fast approaching. Colder temperatures always bring an increase in foot traffic at Steep and lately the TEAm has been working extra hard to pour a little more relaxation and love into every day.
Beyond pampering more spa clients, we’ve continued to organize and host an increasing number of events. Our painting and planting evenings have been fun and very popular activities that we are now hosting regularly. In addition, our very first Family Movie Night two weeks ago was a success and we are looking forward to repeating it again soon.
We are very excited about our growing number of partnerships with small businesses and our ability to provide a venue for meetings, seminars, and other events. For example, the Pregnancy Workshop series that kicked off this week or the Rodan + Fields evening next week both provide opportunities for the partners, but also introduce new people to House of Steep. Many of these relationships are driven by our events and outreach coordinator, Mollie Coleman. Learn more about Mollie and all the great things she is doing to spread Steep love in our Employee Spotlight this month.
In food news, we’re always testing new recipes and menu items. Recently we’ve been trying out more Matcha infused items as well as making several soups in-house that have been very popular. My personal favorite meal lately has been a soup and grilled cheese combo with Potato Leak soup and a non-dairy grilled cheese with tempeh. I’ve been pairing with Coat Your Throat or Peppermint tea to help with a cold the last couple weeks.
The approaching holidays can be a stressful time. Sharing a soak or therapy session is a great way to spend time relaxing and connecting with a loved one. That’s why we are bringing back our 2 for 1 weekday soak special. Make sure you book as early as possible as our appointments are filling up quickly. Alternatively, a House of Steep Gift Card is the perfect way to show someone you care.
Finally, I encourage you to pay us a visit soon to enjoy the incredible artistic talents of Mary Sgarlata Adamus. Mary displays a variety of skills ranging from photographing to drawing and painting. I’ve personally known Mary since my early childhood in NY and couldn’t be more excited to be sharing her work at Steep this quarter. Thank you all for your continued support of Steep. We love hearing your ideas and feedback so please keep ‘em coming.
